Meet 9 Enneagram Portlanders
from our Pechakucha nite when 180 people joined us to experience and explore the 9 Points of View: Live & LOcal
Jimmy Radosta (Type One: The Idealist / Perfectionist) has appeared as a storyteller on OPB’s Back Fence, The Moth Story Slam, The Mystery Box Show and Mortified chapters in Portland, Hollywood and San Francisco. At the 2010 and 2011 Fertile Ground Festivals, he blended monologue and karaoke in the one-man show “Triskaidekaphilia (Just My Luck).” A former editor and columnist at Just Out, Jimmy works as the Communications and Marketing Director at Planned Parenthood Advocates of Oregon, which helps keep Oregon the leading state in the nation for reproductive freedom.
Lori Johnson (Type Two: The Helper / Giver) is an Anatomy and Clinical Lab Instructor in Portland. She settled in Portland after extensive international travel as a blood analyst in order to study classical piano. As a ‘giving’ type Two, her volunteer work in Fijian villages and work with troubled teens have been her most fulfilling endeavors.
Kevin Hiebert (Type Three: The Achiever / Performer) is the principal of Resonate Coaching and Leadership Development, and he has a passion for engaging organizations and communities in conscious conversation for change. Kevin was a founding member of an intentional community and is a recently certified trainer in the Enneagram community. Nicki Pozos (also a Type Three: The Achiever / Performer) is true to her type as a marketing manager for an engineering consulting firm. Her background includes a PhD in Civil Engineering, former work as a life coach, and certification in the Riso Hudson Enneagram system. Nicki has two kids and seems unable to stop singing around the house, no matter how many times her three-year-old says “no talking.”
David Melville (Type Four: The Romantic) is a poet who lives in Portland. David read at Wordstock 2013, and his work is set for publication in The Oregonian. He is also is an attorney specializing in appeals and business disputes.
Richard Hoiland (Type Five: The Observer / Investigator) is a professional engineer working in storm water and groundwater in Vancouver, Washington (but he is not all wet!). He is a certified Enneagram professional, and, as a Type Five – one of the “head” types on the Enneagram — he is widely remembered for his 33 minute headstand at a Yogathon fundraiser in Houston, Texas.
Mark Holloway (Type Six: The Loyal Skeptic) is the leader of Social Venture Partners, a foundation in Portland that channels the talents and assets of the private sector to solve intractable community problems. He is passionate about helping to make Portland the best place in the world to be a kid! Mark loves donuts, skiing, traveling, his small-town Louisiana roots and stretching far more extremely than a man his age should stretch.
Gail Webb (Type Seven: The Epicure / Adventurer) is a career Blind Rehabilitation specialist. Type Sevens love joy and immediate gratification, and her work provides both daily. Gail was part of EYE ROCK – a team of blind racers in the Portland to Coast race where they were in the top third of finishers, and she has completed the 500 mile pilgrimage route, El Camino de Santiago twice. Not surprisingly, as a Seven she has an almost crippling sweet tooth.
Deb Katz (Type Eight: The Protector) guides individuals and organizations along the path of integrating Conscious Leadership practices. She playfully, tenderly and fiercely supports leaders and their teams shift into and sustain more creative, productive and deeply satisfying states of consciousness and relationships. Deb is also a Hospice RN.
Debra Moser (Type Nine: The Mediator / Peacemaker) is a visual artist whose work draws heavily on nature. She is currently working on a series of fish eye and Black-capped Chickadee paintings. She is also a licensed clinical social worker and owner of Whole Life Services, Inc., a care management company working with seniors and people with cognitive disabilities.
