- An online private event with Dale Rhodes and the women's spiritual book community
Many people find that understanding personality styles helps them navigate life with greater ease. A sophisticated and powerful system for self-understanding and personal development, the Enneagram is used worldwide as an effective tool in communications, psychology, personal growth, and in it’s original field: spiritual development.
The Enneagram reveals that all people belong to one of nine major personality types, but it is really a map describing point of view and preferences for specific values. The Enneagram offers a roadmap to address our own challenges and to develop the unique spiritual experiences and awareness that are waiting to be discovered. Support for better relationships is also a focus of the system, because discovering the “lens” through which we view the world is the first step in our comprehending how others may experience the world differently. Just a basic understanding of the Nine Points of View broadens your self understanding and compassion in relating with others. In this workshop, you’ll have a well-curated introduction to the nine paths to being a spiritual and awake human being, plenty of references to how these themes are visible in literature/film/wisdom-traditions, and you will leave with better understanding for the ways of others.

A lake evaporates upward and thus gradually dries up;
but when two lakes are joined they do not dry up so readily, for one replenishes the other.
It is the same in the field of knowledge.
Knowledge should be a refreshing and vitalizing force.
It becomes so only through stimulating intercourse with congenial friends with whom one holds discussion and practices application of the truths of life.
In this way learning becomes many-sided and takes on a cheerful lightness,
whereas there is always something ponderous and one- sided about the learning of the self-taught.
